AIIMS Delhi’s Brief Pause for the Grand Ram Temple Consecration on Jan 22

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi has declared a half-day closure until 2:30 PM on Monday, January 22, in honour of the dedication of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

For the information of all staff members, the institute will be closed for a half-day on January 22, 2024, until 14.30 hours (2.30 pm). The message, which was signed by Rajesh Kumar, the administrative officer, said, “All chiefs of centres, heads of departments, units, and branch officers are requested to bring this to the notice of all staff working under them.”

The national capital’s Institute requested that all chiefs of centres, heads of departments, heads of units, and branch officers notify all employees who report to them about this.

In the same way, Pran Pratishtha of the Ayodhya Ram Temple would be closed on January 22 from 2:30 PM to half past noon, according to a statement from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Nonetheless, the hospital’s emergency services will continue to operate, and the OPD registration desks will open at 1:30 PM.

On January 22, government offices in Delhi will be closed for a half-day in honour of the dedication ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. On January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a number of other dignitaries will attend the dedication ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya.

Due to the “Pran Pratishtha” event at Ayodhya on January 22, Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena approved a half-day off for all Delhi government offices, civic bodies, and other undertakings, according to a Raj Niwas official.

In order to allow staff members to take part in the festivities, the services department memo stated, “Lt Governor, of National Capital Territory of Delhi, is pleased to declare half day closing till 14.30 hours on January 22 in all the Delhi government offices, autonomous bodies, boards, corporations, local bodies, undertakings under Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.”

On January 22, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ordered government offices to close at 2:30 p.m., according to a government official in Delhi.
