Airtel’s partner in India’s first Metaverse multiplex seeks funding

Bharti Airtel collaborated with Gamitronics in 2022 to launch India’s first multiplex on the PartyNite Metaverse platform. Gamitronics, a Metaverse startup, is currently in talks to raise funding.

Gamitronics, the company behind the Metaverse platform PartyNite, is in discussions with investors about raising capital. Big Viking Games in Canada has already made a strategic investment of $1.5 million in the company.

Rajat Ojha co-founded the company in 2017 with Rajiv Chilaka, the CEO of Green Gold Animation, the creators of the popular Chhota Bheem cartoon.

Ojha claimed that the company will have grown tenfold by 2022. Brand engagement in PartyNite, the sale of land to brands and celebrities on PartyNite, and advertisements in the Metaverse are all revenue streams for Gamitronics.

Van Heusen, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail’s lifestyle brand, recently collaborated with PartyNite to showcase its merchandise range aimed at youths.

The company intends to increase its revenue by developing Play2Earn games, which it claims will increase revenue and stickiness.

Aside from India, the company is optimistic about international markets.
