Trade sources indicate that “Maidaan” is gradually approaching Rs 50 crore globally.

Amit Sharma is the director of the biographical sports drama “Maidaan,” which stars Ajay Devgn as football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Between 1952 to 1962, he coached football in India and contributed to the country’s international reputation.
Salwyn Quadras, Aman Rai, Atul Shahi, and Amit Sharma are co-writers of the script. In addition to Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajaraj Rao, Devyansh Tripathi, Boney Kapoor, Nitanshi Goel, and Aayesha Vindhara also play significant parts in the movie.
