Akshay Kumar is selling a lot of real estate. This year, the Bollywood actor has sold several residences in Mumbai. He has already secured agreements for his two additional residential properties in Mumbai’s Borivali East, generating returns on investment of more than 90%.
SquareYards’ property registration paperwork shows that Akshay Kumar sold two residential properties in Borivali East, Mumbai, for an astounding Rs 7.10 crore. Pravin Shetty and Sabita Shetty have purchased the two adjacent units in Oberoi Sky City.
One unit is a 252 square foot studio, while the other includes a carpeted area of 1101 square feet and two parking places. According to SquareYards, Akshay Kumar purchased the first home in 2017 for Rs 3.02 crore, and it subsequently increased in value by 90%. It was sold for Rs 5.75 crore by the Kesari Chapter 2 actor. Akshay sold the studio apartment for Rs 1.35 crore, a 99% increase in value since it was purchased eight years ago for Rs 67.90 lakh.
In the initial transaction for the residential apartment, Rs 30,000 in registration fees and Rs 34.50 lakh in stamp duty were required. The second transaction involves paying Rs 6.75 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration fees for the studio space.

In the past seven months, Akshay Kumar has sold about eight real estate properties in various parts of Mumbai, including Borivali, Worli, Lower Parel, and others. Over Rs 110 crore has been earned by the Hera Pheri 3 actor, and according to IndexTap, Akshay and his spouse, Twinkle Khanna, sold a lavish residence in Worli, Mumbai.
Additionally, several upscale residential and commercial buildings were sold by Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai’s real estate market.
