Akshay is very interested in sports as well and recently he followed the footsteps of some other Bollywood actors such as Shah Ruh Khan, Preity Zinta, Juhi Chawla, etc, by purchasing a cricket team.
Well, Khiladi Kumar hasn’t purchased a team in the IPL like his contemporaries but he has bought a team in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), an inaugural tennis ball T10 cricket tournament which will be played from 2 March till 9 March 2024 inside a stadium.
Akshay Kumar has purchased the Srinagar team in the ISPL and while speaking to the media, the Baby actor stated, “I am thrilled to be part of the ISPL and the Srinagar team. This tournament promises to be a game-changer in the world of cricket, and I am looking forward to being at the forefront of this unique sporting endeavour.”
Akshay Kumar had a tough year at the box-office as all his movies failed to perform and he dearly needs a hit movie in the year 2024.
