Fans of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise may have a reason to celebrate as director Anees Bazmee recently opened up about the possibility of Akshay Kumar returning to the series in its fourth installment. Akshay headlined the first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film in 2007, while Kartik Aaryan took the lead in the second and third parts, both of which were box office hits.
In an interview Anees Bazmee expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with Akshay again, provided the storyline supports his return. “There is a great bond of friendship, love, and everything. If the story fits, I’d be really happy to have him back,” the filmmaker shared.
This statement has sparked excitement among fans who have long awaited a reunion between Akshay Kumar and Kartik Aaryan on screen.
The third installment of the franchise, released last month, featured Kartik Aaryan alongside Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. The film was a massive success, earning over ₹400 crore at the Indian box office and receiving praise from audiences and critics alike.
