Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has successfully sold his apartment in Borivali East, Mumbai, for Rs 4.35 crore, as per property registration documents from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR). The property is part of Sky City, a sprawling residential project developed by Oberoi Realty, covering 25 acres.
According to IGR documents reviewed by Square Yards, Akshay Kumar initially purchased the apartment in November 2017 for Rs 2.37 crore. With the recent sale fetching Rs 4.35 crore, the transaction marks an impressive 84% appreciation in value. The registration of the deal was completed in March 2025.
Sky City, known for its luxury residential offerings, provides ready-to-move-in apartments, including 3BHK, 3BHK+Studio, and Duplex configurations. The apartment in question has a carpet area of 1,073 sqft (99.71 sqm) and includes two dedicated car parking spaces.
The sale transaction also involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 26.1 lakh and registration charges amounting to Rs 30,000, as recorded in the official documents.
