The Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been going through a tough phase as he has given back to back flops and badly needs a hit movie, however the good thing is that the actor has some good projects lined up and he just needs a little bit of luck on his side.
Akshay Kumar is known for working in 3-4 movies every year and many times he has been criticized for making movies so quickly.
In a recent interview, Akshay Kumar opened up on the number one actor race in Bollywood, he said, “When they categorise an actor as number one or two, I feel like a Mahalaxmi ka ghoda running in a race. Hindi cinema produces about 190-200 films a year, and with the South film industry included, there are many films but just 8 to 12 leading actors. So why should we fight over who’s number one? Everyone has work. The whole idea is to just work.”
Akshay further said that he doesn’t understand why people have problem with him working in 4 movies in a year. He said, “A lot of people question why I do 4 films a year. I don’t understand this. It’s the first time I’ve heard someone ask why I work so much. Have you ever heard anyone question why someone works? I do 4 films a year, and people have a problem with that.”
Akshay Kumar will be seen next in Sarfira which is a remake of Tamil movie, Soorarai Pottru. Sarfira will release on 12 July 2024.
