Akshay Kumar’s fans got a rude shock yesterday when a new ad of Vimal Elaichi went viral as everyone started saying that Akshay has returned as the brand ambassador of Vimal brand which is famous for selling pan masala.
In this new ad, Akshay Kumar once again featured with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn and it was a big development as the actor announced his disassociation with the brand after he was slammed heavily for promoting the brand.
However, the Entertainment actor has himself clarified the situation and he has reiterated that he is no longer associated with the brand and he also slammed a portal for publishing fake news.
Akshay Kumar reacted to a tweet by a portal which talked about his return as the brand ambassador of Vimal. Akshay tweeted, “‘Returns’ as ambassador? Here’s some fact check for you. If by chance you are interested in things other than fake news. These ads were shot on 13th October, 2021. I have not had anything to do with the brand ever since I publicly announced the discontinuation of the endorsement. They can legally run the already shot ads till the end of next month. Chill and do some real news.”
Well, it is really good that Akshay himself has clarified the situation.
