New onscreen pair, Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar, are gearing up for the release of their first collaboration, the gangster drama Maalik. Directed by Pulkit, the film is set to hit theaters on July 11. The makers recently unveiled the film’s first single, a romantic track titled Naamumkin, which has already garnered positive reactions from viewers.
Adding to the buzz, actress Alaya F has given a special shoutout to her “favourite people” for their first on-screen pairing.
Taking to Instagram, the Jawaani Jaaneman actress shared a snippet of the song on her stories, writing, “Too many of my favourite people in one film.” Rajkummar Rao reciprocated the gesture by re-sharing her story, accompanying it with red heart emojis. This endorsement comes as no surprise, as Alaya has previously worked with both actors.
She shared the screen with Rajkummar in the biographical drama film Srikanth, which is based on the life of visually impaired industrialist and Bollant Industries founder Srikant Bolla. Additionally, Alaya has collaborated with Manushi in the action thriller film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
