Double Olympic medallist and badminton superstar PV Sindhu is set to embark on a new chapter in her life. Widely regarded as one of India’s greatest badminton players, Sindhu will marry senior IT professional Venkata Datta Sai in a grand ceremony in Udaipur on December 22, 2024.
Venkata Datta Sai is the executive director at Posidex Technologies, a Hyderabad-based tech company. Notably, PV Sindhu unveiled the company’s new logo last month. Sai is the son of GT Venkateshwar Rao, the managing director of Posidex Technologies and a former member of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS).
Sai boasts an impressive academic background. He pursued a Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the Foundation for Liberal and Management Education and completed his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University in 2018. He later earned a Master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
According to Sai’s LinkedIn profile, he has held notable positions, including a stint with JSW and as managing director of Sour Apple Asset Management. He joined Posidex Technologies in December 2019, where he has been instrumental in developing innovative tech solutions for major financial institutions.
In his LinkedIn bio, Sai highlights his contributions to the industry:
