The arrest follows a tragic incident at the December 4 premiere of his highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. A 35 years old woman lost her life and her 8-year son sustained injuries in a stampede-like situation that unfolded as thousands of fans gathered to see the actor.
