However, after deleting his emotional post, the music composer has now issued a clarification, urging media outlets to respect his family’s privacy and avoid unnecessary sensationalism.
In his latest statement, Amaal reassured his fans that, despite the challenges, his bond with his brother, Armaan Malik, remains unshaken. He emphasized that while he has chosen to love his family from a distance for now, his relationship with Armaan remains unaffected.
Earlier, in his since-deleted Instagram post, Amaal revealed the deep emotional scars left by years of feeling overlooked and unappreciated by his family. Having composed 126 songs over the past decade, he expressed that his contributions often went unrecognized, which took a toll on his mental health and self-worth. He also attributed the growing rift between him and Armaan to the actions of their parents, stating that their interference had strained their bond as brothers.
His heartfelt confession detailed how the emotional turmoil had led him into depression, explaining that his self-confidence and relationships had suffered as a result. However, in his latest message, he reaffirmed his love for his family while maintaining the need for space.
Following his revelations, Amaal’s mother, Jyothi Mallik, refrained from commenting extensively, simply stating that whatever he has shared is his personal choice.
