Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most awaited movies of the year, it was initially scheduled to release in 2022 but due to COVID-19, its release got delayed.
Now Nag Ashwin directed flick will release on 9 May and the makers are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the audiences have a great experience while watching the film.
Recently, actor Amitabh Bachchan who also plays an important role in Kalki 2898 AD gave an important update about the movie. He wrote in his blog, “Late again .. but late from work last night .. as the completion of KALKI approaches .. and as has been informed it is May 9th of the release .. So last efforts to get all in shape and in order to bring to all an experience that promises the vision of the makers.”
Earlier this month, during an event, Nag Ashwin gave some details about the movie as he stated, “The film starts with Mahabharat and ends in 2898 AD. It spans 6000 years in time. We tried to create worlds, imagining what they would be like while still keeping it Indian, and not make it look like Blade Runner. The film begins 6000 years behind 2898 AD is 3102 BC, which is when the last avatar of Krishna is believed to have passed.”
