Amitabh Bachchan, fondly known as Big B, suffered an injury while filming an action sequence for the upcoming sci-fi movie, Project K, in Hyderabad.
The movie stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone and is scheduled to release in theatres on January 12, 2024. The 80-year-old actor took to his blog to share the update on his injury, saying that his rib cartilage had popped and broken, and there was a muscle tear to his right rib cage.
He further added that he had undergone a CT scan at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and had been advised to take rest. Due to his injury, the shoot has been canceled and all work postponed until Bachchan recovers.
He is currently resting at Jalsa and has requested his fans not to come to Jaisa Gate in the evening. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is sure to be a hit with fans when it releases in theatres.
