According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan, 81, will have an angioplasty to remove a clot in his leg after being hospitalised to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute.
The actor had treatment for peripheral cardiac disease, not coronary heart disease, according to News 18. “An angioplasty was performed on a clot in his leg, not on his heart,” the insider continued.
Soon before Amitabh Bachchan hospitalisation was announced, he thanked everyone in a mysterious message on X. “T 4950-in appreciation ever..” was what he wrote.
