Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey starrer Dream Girl 2 is all set to release on 25 August and fans are already very excited after watching the trailer of the movie. This film is a sequel to the 2019 released Dream Girl in which Nushrratt Bharuccha played the female lead and it was a blockbuster which earned around Rs. 200 crore at the box-office. In the first movie, Ayushmann Khurrana worked as a call center employee who used to talk to people in a female voice but in the second part, he has been shown dressed as a woman making a fool of men.
Recently, 24 years old Ananya Pandey, the female lead of Dream Girl 2, was asked about the big age gap of 14 yrs between her and Ayushmann Khurrana who is 38 years old and in response, she stated that it shouldn’t matter as age gap has always been there in Hindi movies.
This is what Ananya said, “I don’t think this is today’s issue. The age difference has always existed. People should not fixate on age while watching the film. If they are preoccupied with this factor, then it becomes a problem. As long as two actors are suitable for their respective roles, it’s perfectly acceptable.”
Earlier the movie was slated to release in July but it got delayed due to remaining VFX work and now everyone is hopeful that it will create a bigger storm at the box-office than the first movie of the series.
