The moment Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar announced that they will be working on Housefull 5; fans have been looking forward to a hilarious experience. Sadly, though, a report by Mid-Day claims that Anil Kapoor is no longer featured in the comedy movie. According to the report, Anil Kapoor left the movie because he and producer Sajid Nadiadwala could not agree on the actor’s compensation.
Reports suggest that the filmmakers are currently rewriting Nana Patekar’s character in the film, as he was once supposed to have humorous chemistry with Anil Kapoor, in light of this cast shift. Additional reports sourced from Bollywood Hungama indicate that Arjun Rampal’s casting is being contemplated by the directors for the franchise. On the other hand, there hasn’t yet been an official confirmation of this.
Housefull 5 was originally scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release; however it has since been moved to 2025. “The Housefull franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Housefull 5,” the creators said in a statement. The storyline that the team has created is so incredible that it calls for excellent visual effects. Although the cast has changed, the creators are still dedicated to Housefull 5. With a strict timeline in the UK, director Tarun Mansukhani has chosen to start filming by the end of August.
