“Ankita has rejected the offer and nobody knows the reason behind her decision,” reveals a source
Ankita Lokhande, the beautiful actress was last seen in the movie, Swatantra Veer Savarkar in which actor Randeep Hooda played the lead role and Ankita played the role of Veer Savarkar’s wife.
The former Bigg Boss contestant was also seen in a music video with her husband, Vicky Jain but there is news that she refused to be a part of Student Of The Year 3. The earlier two movies of the SOTY franchise were big hits so it is a little shocking for everyone that Ankita has refused such a big project which is produced by Karan Johar.
A source revealed, “Yes, Ankita was approached for Student Of The Year 3. I am not sure about the role she was offered but she was definitely asked if she could be a part of the SOTY franchise. However, she has rejected the offer and nobody knows the reason behind her decision.”
Well there is also a big change in regard to SOTY3, this time it is not going to be made as a movie but it will be made as a web series and this was confirmed by Karan Johar at an event earlier this year. He also revealed that the web series will be directed by Reema Maya. He said, “Reema Maya will be directing the digital version of Student Of The Year. But it will be her way and definitely not mine because if I’ll enter Reema Maya’s world, then I will make it more of an illusion, which is what her name means. I just wanted it to be her voice. She made it her own series.”
