Pitchers Pranjhal Sinha, Akshetha Maithri Ashik, and Vikram Kumar introduced judges to their Online Dispute Resolution platform, which offers tools to settle legal disputes outside of court, in a recent episode of Shark Tank India season 3. In exchange for 1% of the pitchers’ firm stock, the pitchers requested that sharks provide them Rs 1 crore.
Following the pitch, Aman Gupta and Namita Thakur present the founders with a combined proposition. “We will bring that to the table apart from everything else because we have dealt with big MNCs and handled them over the last 14 quarters,” Aman stated. The pitchers received an offer from Amit Jain as well.
But Anupam Mittal continued, sneering at Aman, “It’s network effect business.” Does this audio have speakers that can be turned on and off? This seemed to annoy Aman, who advised pitchers to follow the calm, collected shark instead of losing their temper.
Subsequently, Ritesh also accepted Aman and Namita’s offer, which was accepted for Rs 1 crore with 1.5% equity. Aman was thrilled by this and exclaimed, “Koi bolta hai main tech ka king hu main.” Oh my, it’s so close to the truth. Namita was also grateful to them for selecting “the right option.”
Season three of Shark Tank India premiered on January 22, 2024. Shark Tank India Season 3 saw the return of several well-known sharks from previous seasons, including Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, Peyush Bansal, co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, Aman Gupta, cofounder of Boat, and Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited.
Amit Jain, the CEO and co-founder of Car Dekho, Ritesh Agarwal, the creator of OYO, Azhar Iqubal, the co-founder and CEO of Inshorts, and Radhika Gupta, the CEO of Edelweiss Capital, joined them on the panel. Ronnie Screwvala, a film producer, just joined the show as well.
