Yesterday was a very sad day in the history of Indian cricket as the Indian team which had been unbeatable throughout the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 got defeated by Australia in the finals and it was certainly heartbreaking for the cricketers and Indian cricket fans as well.
The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was in sublime form of his life and everyone expected him to play a big innings in this important match but he was dismissed after scoring a fifty in the finals. The Indian team posted a total of 240 runs after batting first and this was certainly a below standard score considering the fact that the Indian squad was playing against a strong Australian team. The Aussies chased the target comfortably and won the match by 6 wickets.
During the match, Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma was seen wiping her tears while waiting for the match to get over as the Aussies were close to winning the match and later on, she was seen consoling her husband and hugging him. The picture has gone viral as an X user shared it with the caption, “They proved ‘hum sath sath hai’”.
It was really a bad day for the Indian cricket team, hard luck!
