Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan starrer Satyaprem Ki Katha is all set to release on 29 June 2023. The movie has a melodious album and the makers have released songs at a regular interval. Though the tracks of the movie were getting love from audiences, yet the latest released song, Pasoori Nu has garnered mixed reactions because this song is a remake of a Pakistani song which was sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill.
The Indian version of the song has been sung by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar, while some have liked the track, several others have criticized the makers for copying a Pakistani song.
Some people are surprised to see that Arijit Singh got ready to sing Pasoori Nu even after knowing that he will be slammed for singing it. When a Twitter user asked Arijit Singh to tell the reason behind the same, an unverified account of Arijit Singh responded with, “Well the maker has promised me a yearly fund for a school for underprivileged that’s more important thode gaali kha lenge.”
