On Wednesday, Mumbai police’s Bomb Disposal and Detection Squad sniffing dog found an abducted six-year-old boy in 90 minutes.
Doberman Leo found the youngster 500 metres from his house in Ashok Nagar slum in suburban Andheri (East) early Friday morning. Officials claimed the boy’s relatives contacted Powai police around midnight after an unidentified person took him as he was playing outside his shanty.
The family informed authorities the youngster changed clothing before leaving.
Leo was given the boy’s t-shirt to scent by the police.
The officer said Leo led the police to the boy, who had been abandoned by the mysterious abductor in terror. He stated that police are investigating.
