The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 started yesterday with New Zealand defeating England by 9 wickets in the opener of the tournament and there can’t be a better start to this mega event. While the former cricketers and cricket experts are making predictions regarding the semi-finalist/finalist teams and the players who will perform well in this tournament, now an Indian astrologer has also made a prediction in this regard.
What has made Indian cricket fans a little happier is the fact that the same astrologer predicted India’s victory in the 2011 ICC ODI World Cup. The name of the astrologer is Anirudh Kumar Mishra and he tweeted, “Much before coming to Twitter, I predicted in 2011, about 1.5 months before the final of the Cricket World Cup that India would win the World Cup. Now again, I am being flooded with requests of predicting the winner of the upcoming world cup. Although I have made it clear that I will not be making any predictions for this world cup, due to the sake of so heavy demand, I decided to make an exception and predict the winner of the World Cup. As per my calculations, India is going to win World Cup this time.”
The astrologer also posted the screenshot of his prediction regarding the 2011 World Cup on Facebook.
However, there were few who pulled his leg by reminding him of his prediction of 2021 in which he predicted that India would win the T20 World Cup but in the end, it was Australia who lifted the trophy.
