In a recent episode of Dance Deewane, where he judges with Madhuri Dixit, Suniel talked about being a “grandfather” or “nana.”

Suniel Shetty said, “Yes, next season when I come (On Dance Deewane), I will be walking on the stage like a nana,” in response to Bharti Singh, the presenter of the reality programme, making fun of him for being a “nana.”
Rumours that Athiya is expecting her first child with KL Rahul have been prompted by his answer. Athiya and KL Rahul have not responded to the speculations about her pregnancy.
Athiya’s first anniversary with KL Rahul
In January, Athiya and KL Rahul commemorated their first wedding anniversary. In honour of the event, they released a romantic film that included some of their favourite scenes from their idyllic wedding as well as some unguarded moments from their married life. In a shared Instagram post, they said, “Finding you was like coming home.”
Close friends and family attended the couple’s intimate wedding on January 23, 2023, which took place at her father Suniel Shetty’s property in Khandala.
In an interview with India Today last year, Suniel discussed his son-in-law KL Rahul. When questioned about his daughter and son-in-law, the actor referred to himself as KL Rahul’s father.

“I said father, I don’t know what a father-in-law does; I was his fan today, despite the relationship, but I loved Rahul, just like I do a lot of young talent,” he remarked. Even when I was an established actor, I was always one to attend talent shows.
Rahul is from Mangalore, which is my backyard, thus I felt this kid was good when I watched him play. I was a fan and I am a proud father now, and I am really happy of everything that kids from little places do. I am familiar with every action he makes, just as he is with himself.”
