Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is on a record-breaking spree as the movie has collected Rs. 546 crore in India and Rs. 966 crore worldwide. The movie is directed by Atlee and it also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles. Moreover, Deepika Padukone has also played an extended cameo in the movie and has been applauded for her performance too.

Well, there is no denying the fact that scenes of dancing, hooting and whistling inside the cinema halls have become pretty common. One scene which got many whistles from the audiences is the one in which Vikram Rathore ignites a cigar from the sparks which got generated in the action scene. In a recent interview, Atlee revealed that this scene was loved not only by the desi audiences but it also attracted some people from Hollywood.

Atlee stated, “People who worked on our film were from Hollywood. Action director Spiro Razatos worked with us. So, Spiro and other great director and technicians from Hollywood were at the same screening of Jawan. And Spiro said I have done action in this film. So, they asked who has done that scene where SRK is engulfed in flames.”

Atlee said that Spiro told them, “It was the director’s vision and he executed it.”

Atlee further said, “So they immediately connected with me and told me, ‘If you want to work in Hollywood, let us know,’ so it isn’t a taste which is very desi. It is something superheroic and it has a very basic rhythm. I thought this idea only works for us but it is working globally.”

Earlier Atlee also talked about taking Jawan to the Oscars but the idea was not liked by the majority of netizens.
