The Audi Q8 e-tron, an improved version of Audi’s first electric SUV, has been launched in India. The Q8 e-tron is available as an SUV and a Sportback coupe SUV with several upgrades.

Dual motors give the Q8 e-tron 408 horsepower. This engine boosts acceleration and thrills drivers. Its major competitor is the Jaguar I-Pace.

The Q8 e-tron’s redesign improves its design. The automobile features extended blacked-out grille surrounds below the headlights. The new grille sports a mesh design, the company’s monochromatic symbol, and a downward-pointing light bar.

Reprofiled front bumpers with larger air intakes on either side. The Q8 e-tron and Sportback sport stylish 20-inch alloy wheels on the sides. “Audi” and “Q8 e-tron quattro” appear on the blacked-out B-pillar. The tailgate has Q8 insignia and a redesigned bumper.

The Q8 e-tron’s interior is similar to the outgoing e-tron’s. Memory-equipped motorized front seats are heated, ventilated, and massaged. The center console features a 10.1-inch infotainment screen and an 8.6-inch HVAC system screen. Audi retained its Virtual Cockpit Plus digital instrument panel.

Audi’s Q8 e-tron can charge at 170kW DC and 22kW AC. The AC charger takes six hours to completely charge the Q8 e-tron. DC rapid chargers power cars from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes. Charging outlets on both sides keep the Q8 e-tron convenient and flexible.

The Jaguar I-Pace, priced between Rs 1.20 crore and 1.24 crore, is the Q8 e-tron’s main competitor in India. The Q8 e-tron leads the electric SUV sector when the Mercedes-Benz EQC was withdrawn. In the next weeks, Audi will release the Q8 e-tron, a premium electric car.
