Ayesha Khan has been very busy this year. She was on a TV show called Bigg Boss and has been acting in a lot of Telugu movies one after the other.
She says, “It’s been like a crazy ride. Bigg Boss gave me new chances and work. I’ve been really busy, but I’m happy about it.”
Ayesha joined Bigg Boss as a surprise contestant, starting on day 64 and leaving on day 97. When asked about life after the show, she says, “It’s been good. Staying in that house was tough, but it changed how I see things. It was a big opportunity, and I’m glad I took it. There have been ups and downs since then, but I’m grateful for the support.”
She started her career on TV as a small-time actor in a show called Kasauti Zindagi Kay. Then, she played a bad character in Baalveer Returns before making her movie debut in 2022 with a Telugu film called Mukhachitram.
Ayesha didn’t know much about the Telugu film industry when she first got the chance to work there. She was worried it might be a trick. But she took it as a challenge and learned her lines, even though she didn’t speak Telugu. It was hard at first, but she got better at it.
Now, Ayesha is in a special song in a movie called Gangs of Godavari and has lead roles in other films like Om Bheem Bush, Lucky Bhaskar, and an unnamed movie with Sharwanand. She plays different characters in each movie and enjoys the variety.
Hyderabad feels like a second home to Ayesha because she has family there and has worked there before. She loves the food there, especially dishes like mandi biryani and rice with rasam and chicken fry. She says she’d love to work in a movie with Ram Charan and also hopes to do a Bengali film someday.
