“Bade Nahin….,” Ram Kapoor’s Wife Gautami Hits Back At Ekta Kapoor With A Funny Video

The simmering cold war between Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor has taken a dramatic turn with the entry of Gautami Kapoor into the conversation. The feud, which initially sparked when Ekta appeared to take a subtle dig at Ram’s dramatic weight loss, has now escalated further. While Ram Kapoor chose to maintain a diplomatic stance, his wife Gautami responded with an unfiltered take.

In a recently shared video, Gautami not only addressed Ekta’s remark but also mimicked her, adding a sarcastic twist to the entire debate. She playfully echoed Ekta’s words, questioning whether she should opt for an anti-inflammatory diet, take Ozempic, or simply rely on gym workouts. “Should I do an anti-inflammatory diet? Should I take Mounjaro? Should I take Ozempic (pharmaceutical drugs), or all of the above? Or should I just zip my mouth? But I think mere liye gym hi kaafi hai (For me, the gym is enough),” she remarked. The video concluded with a pointed jibe at Ekta’s famous television show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, as Gautami cheekily stated, “Kyunki humein bade nahi, chhote hi achhe lagte hain.”

Gautami shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Jisse jo pasand ho… use woh karne do (Let people do what they like) … live and let live… at the end, what matters is health, happiness, and peace (sic).” She further added hashtags such as #nojudgement, #onlygoodvibe, and #livelifekingsize, reinforcing her stance on personal choices and well-being.

Ram Kapoor’s remarkable weight loss has been the subject of widespread speculation, with many questioning whether he used Ozempic, a popular medication for weight management. However, he addressed these rumors head-on, firmly denying the allegations and crediting his transformation to rigorous workouts and disciplined fitness routines. Despite his clarification, the controversy did not die down, as Ekta Kapoor seemingly responded with a cryptic yet pointed video. In it, she mused over whether to try different weight-loss methods before concluding, “Hum bade hi acche lagte hain (We look good just the way we are)!” The caption of her post, “Ozempic ho jaye,” further fueled the assumption that she was taking a dig at Ram.

The tension between the two industry stalwarts did not start with the Ozempic debate; their strained relationship dates back to a much earlier controversy. In an interview, Ram Kapoor had claimed that the highly discussed intimate scene between him and Sakshi Tanwar in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain was entirely Ekta Kapoor’s idea. This statement did not sit well with the producer, who later posted a cryptic but scathing remark on social media. Without naming names, she declared, “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up! False information and skewed stories can only last until I talk… but there is dignity in silence.”

Though no direct names were mentioned, it was evident whom she was referring to. The underlying friction between them continues to capture public attention, making it clear that the cold war between Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor is far from over.
