Actress Barkha Bisht recently revisited her past relationship with Karan Singh Grover, with whom she starred in the 2004 teen drama series Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. The two were in a relationship for about two years before parting ways. Looking back at their romance, Barkha shared that Karan’s kindness was what initially attracted her to him.
However, as time passed, they evolved into different individuals with varying perspectives on life. She also pointed out that Karan Singh Grover was two years younger than her, and over time, the age difference became more evident. Despite their breakup, she holds no bitterness and continues to have fond feelings for him, wishing him well in life.
In an interview, Barkha spoke about her time with Karan, saying, “We dated for two years. Karan was a very kind person, which attracted me to him. He has an inherent kindness, which I got attracted to because people in Mumbai are not always kind. So, whenever I find kindness, I get attracted to it. He is very good-looking—the six-pack abs, I mean, I was just 23 years old! Over the years, we grew into different people. It was my first heartbreak in Mumbai.”
Discussing what led to their breakup, she further explained, “Nothing went wrong; our perspectives and views on life were different. He was also two years younger than me. As we grew older over those two years, that difference became more apparent—that was the problem. I am still very fond of him even today, and I wish him the best wherever he is.”
Though their relationship did not stand the test of time, Barkha looks back on it with warmth, acknowledging the good memories they shared while embracing the changes life brought along the way.
