Samir Soni recently revealed that Bhagyashree would recoil multiple times while shooting suhagraat scene in TV movie Ankhiyon Ke Jharonkhon Se because of this reason.
Bhagyashree is one of the most beautiful Bollywood actresses and she could have a thriving career in the industry; however as the luck would have it, she gave some back-to-back flops after superhit debut movie Maine Pyar Kiya in which she shared the screen with Salman Khan.
After marriage with Himalaya, Bhagyashree prioritized her family over career and she doesn’t have any regret for the same too. Recently Samir Soni who has worked with her in Anil Ganguly directed TV movie Ankhiyon Ke Jharonkhon Se in the year 2001 shared an interesting incident.
He said that Bhagyashree was playing a blind girl in the telefilm and while shooting the suhagraat scene, she would recoil every time he came close to her. This happened multiple times and left Samir baffled.
Here’s what Samir Soni said, “We were playing lovers, and she was playing a blind girl. It was a ‘suhagraat (wedding night)’ scene, and our director had set a very nice frame near a window, under the moonlight.
It was a romantic scene, but the moment I’d come near her, she would recoil. This happened again and again. I wondered what the problem was, plus, she was supposed to be blind; how did she even know I was coming close to her?”
Later she took him aside and requested him not to take it personally. She also disclosed the reason that she was feeling uncomfortable while shooting such a scene because of her little kids.
Bhagyashree told him, “Samir, don’t take this personally, but I have little kids. If they see me like this, they’ll get uncomfortable.” He added that he respected her decision, and asked her to convey the same to their director as well.
On the work front, Bhagyashree’s latest venture Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Chatrapathi has released this Friday. It’s a remake of Prabhas-Rajamouli’s Chathrapathi; the flick also stars Nushratt Bharuccha and Bhagyashree is playing the role of Bellamkonda’s mother in the movie.
