The IPL team Rajasthan Royals has continued with their winning streak as yesterday they registered their seventh win in the tournament and this time, they crushed the five times champions, Mumbai Indians.
The good thing for RR was that their opener Yashasvi Jaiswal got his form back as he scored an unbeaten century (104* runs) and helped his team in chasing the target of 180 runs. The match was played at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium, Jaipur and after winning the toss, MI chose to bat first and posted a total of 179/9 in their stipulated 20 overs.
RR won the match by 9 wickets as they chased the target successfully in 18.4 overs, while Jos Buttler got out at the score of 35 runs, the skipper Sanju Samson remained not out at the score of 38 runs.
Sanju Samson is getting praised for both his batting and captaincy as RR is ruling the points table with 7 wins in 8 matches and they are certain to play the play-offs.
Harbhajan Singh who is also called Bhajji by his fans took to X and shed his opinion on the matter of India’s choice for the wicketkeeper-batter for the T20 World Cup and he also made a big statement about Sanju Samson.
Bhajji tweeted, “Yashasvi Jaiswal’s knock is a proof of class is permanent. Form is temporary @ybj_19 and there shouldn’t be any debate about Keepar batsman. @IamSanjuSamson should walk in to the Indian team for T20 World Cup and also groomed as a next T20 captain for India after Rohit. Koi shak???”
