After a vehicle accident in Kaimur, Bihar, popular Bhojpuri actress Aanchal Tiwari has passed away. Singer Chhotu Pandey also died in the incident on Monday that caused nine deaths. The road accident also killed another Bhojpuri actress Simran Srivastava.
A truck, SUV, and motorcycle crash in Bihar’s Kaimur district killed nine people, including Bhojpuri musician Chhotu Pandey, on Monday.
The tragedy occurred on GT Road near Devkali village in Mohania police station on Sunday evening, according to Punjab Kesari. On Monday, Mohania DSP Dilip Kumar recognized the victims, including Bhojpuri artist Chhotu Pandey. Aanchal Tiwari, Simran Srivastava, Prakash Ram, Dadhibal Singh, Anu, Shashi, Satya Prakash Mishra, and Bagish Pandey also died.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said on his X (previously Twitter) account, “Saddened by the deaths in a tragic traffic accident near Devkali on NH 2 in Mohania police station area of Kaimur district. We offer our condolences to the families. Injury care instructions have been provided. I hope the injured recover quickly.”
