Rajat Dalal, a contestant from Bigg Boss 18, has found himself at the center of controversy after making derogatory remarks about his fellow contestants. His comments quickly went viral, drawing criticism from netizens and leading to widespread trolling. The backlash has now extended to his personal connections, as several former contestants who were once close to him—including Eisha Singh, Edin Rose, and Sara Arfeen Khan—have unfollowed him on Instagram.
Sara, who shared a strong bond with Rajat during their time on Bigg Boss 18, had stood by him even after the show ended. Inside the house, Rajat had gone out of his way to support Sara, even saving her from elimination at one point. When she was evicted, he took it hard, visibly affected by her departure. However, the recent controversy seems to have changed things between them, as she has now distanced herself from him online. Interestingly, her husband, Arfeen Khan, still follows Rajat on Instagram.
Eisha Singh, Kashish Kapoor, and Edin Rose have also chosen to unfollow Rajat. While Eisha was never part of his inner circle, she had once considered him a brother. Yamini Malhotra, Edin, and Kashish were a part of Rajat’s group, spending a lot of time together inside the house. Sara even jokingly referred to them as “RD’s Angels.” Eisha’s family had previously expressed gratitude to Rajat for looking after her in the house, making this fallout even more surprising.
The tipping point came after Rajat made an offensive remark about Eisha Singh during a recent episode of Elvish Yadav’s podcast. His comment, suggesting that men marry certain women so they don’t need a maid, was widely condemned. Adding to the outrage, he also insulted other former housemates, referring to Shilpa Shirodkar as neecha aadmi and calling Avinash Mishra tharki. He didn’t stop there, taking jabs at Digvijay Rathee, Chaahat Pandey, Vivian Dsena, and Eisha Singh.
Once the teaser of the podcast surfaced online, Rajat’s statements sparked immediate backlash. His words didn’t sit well with the audience, and the criticism against him mounted. In response to the controversy, the podcast removed the offensive remarks about Eisha Singh, but the damage had already been done. Rajat now faces the fallout from his words, with former friends cutting ties and the internet turning against him.
