Shilpa Shirodkar, a well-known actress from the 1990s and sister of Namrata Shirodkar, is one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 18. She has appeared in popular films such as Kishen Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam, and Return of Jewel Thief. After her marriage, Shilpa stepped away from both the film industry and the country. Now, she aims to use Bigg Boss 18 as a platform for her comeback to the entertainment world.
While Shilpa is open about her return to acting, she has set boundaries when it comes to her family. According to a report, Shilpa has chosen not to speak about her sister Namrata Shirodkar or her brother-in-law, actor Mahesh Babu. However, Shilpa remains confident in her openness during the show, sharing, “I have no secrets, and hence I wouldn’t need to be cautious or image-conscious. I will be myself and play the game wholeheartedly.”
Despite having worked in the same era as Salman Khan, Shilpa Shirodkar clarified that she shares no special connection with him. She said, “He is just a colleague to me. I have no special bond; neither is he my friend. But yes, I am hoping to get to know him better.” Shilpa also expressed her admiration for Salman’s hosting skills, stating, “He is so fair, and I am looking forward to taking on this new journey with him.”
It is worth mentioning that neither Namrata Shirodkar nor Mahesh Babu has publicly commented on Shilpa’s decision to join Bigg Boss 18. This silence adds intrigue to Shilpa’s journey on the reality show.
