BJP Resolution: Ram Temple Construction Marks ‘Ram Rajya’ Era for Millennia

In a resolution approved on Sunday at the BJP national convention, it was claimed that the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya signifies the beginning of “Ram Rajya” in India for the ensuing millennium.

The resolution stated that the temple that hosted a lavish consecration ceremony last month has evolved into a temple of “national consciousness” and would be essential to implementing the decisions made in order to create a “Viksit Bharat.”

“A historic and magnificent accomplishment for the nation is the building of a magnificent and heavenly temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram at his birthplace in the old holy city of Ayodhya. This marks the start of a new “Kalachakra” and the formation of “Ram Rajya” in India for the ensuing millennium, according to the resolution.

The statement went on, “The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) convention sincerely congratulates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for a job well done in overseeing the consecration of Lord Ram.”

The resolution said that India’s vision, philosophy, and path are symbolised by the Ram temple. It stated that “Shri Ram temple has truly become a temple of national consciousness” and that “every Indian is happy to see Lord Shri Ram consecrated by the divine.”

Prime Minister Modi conducted a consecration ceremony at the temple on January 22 to dedicate a new idol of Lord Ram. Countless individuals participated in the momentous occasion by watching the “pran pratishtha (consecration)” ritual on television in their homes and nearby temples.

According to the resolution, the Ramayana, Lord Ram, and Sita are ingrained in all facets of Indian culture and civilization. “The image of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, and Lakshman ji returning to Ayodhya after the victory is a proof of the fact that Lord Shri Ram is the source of inspiration for the fundamental rights,” the original copy of the Indian Constitution stated in the section on fundamental rights.

“The idea of ‘Ram Rajya’ was also in the heart of Bapu Mahatma Gandhi,” the resolution stated.

It was once said that the concept of “Ram Rajya” represents actual democracy. By instituting sound administration across the nation, the prime minister has brought the spirit of “Ram Rajya” to life in accordance with Lord Shri Ram’s teachings,” the statement continued.

The resolution said that “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and “Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” are based on the ideals that Lord Ram imparted in his words and ideas.

India’s unity and solidarity have gained the strength of public engagement under the prime minister’s direction. Through his policies and leadership, the nation’s morale has increased. In the past ten years, Indian cultural, spiritual, and historical pride has been revived, the statement stated.

The convention further said, “This convention thanks Prime Minister Modi for allowing the entire country to experience the magic of Ramadan and congratulates him on making the shared power of heritage and development the identity of new India through his determined efforts.”
