BJP responds to Rahul Gandhi’s controversial statement in the US against PM Modi

Rahul Gandhi made a controversial statement regarding Indian politics, identifying Prime Minister Modi as a prime example of individuals who believe they possess knowledge superior to that of God. In response Union Minister Anurag Thakur said the Congress leader was unable to accept the admiration bestowed upon PM Modi during his recent overseas trips.

On Tuesday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during his speech to the Indian diaspora in the United States.

While speaking to a San Francisco audience,  Rahul Gandhi, who is currently on a six-day tour of the US, made a bold statement regarding Indian politics. According to him, there are individuals within India who believe they possess knowledge superior to that of God. He went on to identify Prime Minister Modi as a prime example of this type of person. Union Minister Anurag Thakur delivered a pointed response, alleging that the Congress leader was unable to accept the commendation and admiration bestowed upon the Prime Minister during his recent overseas trips.

Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukaan’ event arranged by the Indian Overseas Congress USA, stated that certain individuals possess an unwavering belief in their knowledge and are confident in their ability to educate historians on history, the army on warfare, and scientists on science.

He said, “In a world as vast and intricate as ours, it is simply impossible for any individual to possess knowledge of every single aspect. The condition in question is the disease…In India, a group of individuals are reportedly confident in their knowledge of all things. Some individuals believe they possess knowledge surpassing even that of a divine being. One could potentially sit down with God and provide an explanation of current events.”

According to Rahul Gandhi, if one were to sit Prime Minister Modi down with God, the Prime Minister would explain to God how the universe works, leaving God feeling confused about His own creation.

They believe they have the ability to elucidate historical events to historians, scientific concepts to scientists, and military tactics to the armed forces. At the heart of the matter lies mediocrity. According to the speaker, “they” are not prepared to lend an ear.

The ruling party has responded sharply to the comments. The Union Minister, Anurag Thakur, has made a serious accusation against a Congress leader, stating that the latter has insulted India during his foreign visits.

Rahul Gandhi’s alleged habit of insulting India during his foreign visits has been deemed unacceptable by some. In an attempt to criticize Prime Minister Modi, the individual in question inadvertently disparaged the entire nation of India, casting doubt on its advancements.

According to Mr. Thakur, the individual in question is attempting to damage India’s reputation at a time when the country’s global standing is being recognized.

The minister said, “During his recent foreign visit, Prime Minister Modi held over 50 meetings with nearly 24 heads of state and government, according to sources. According to various world leaders, Modi is considered as the most popular leader. According to the Union Minister, Rahul Gandhi was unable to accept the statement made by the Australian Prime Minister regarding PM Modi being the boss.”
