Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor is faring well in the theatres. On its third day of release, the romantic drama has seen a rise in the collections in comparison to its second day, in national chains – PVR, INOX and Cinepolis.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film’s collections till 3 pm on Friday. He wrote, “#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar at national chains… Day 3 / Fri [working day]… Update: 3 pm…#PVR: 1.25 cr #INOX: 75 lacs #Cinepolis: 45 lacs ⭐️ Total: ₹ 2.45 cr Nett BOC. #TJMM trending better than Day 2 [₹ 2.34 cr till 3 pm].”
As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’s third-day collection is approximately Rs 10.1 cr, thus taking the total collection of the movie to Rs 36.17 cr. Though it is not as successful as director Luv Ranjan’s previous hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety on its third day, it is definitely doing better than most recent Bollywood releases.
The movie has already crossed the lifetime collection of Akshay Kumar’s Selfiee (Rs 16.60 cr) and Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada (Rs 32 cr)
