Brian Lara Is All Praises For Virat Kohli After His 76th Ton Vs WI

Virat Kohli, the Indian cricketer, has made every Indian happy by scoring his 29th test century in the ongoing second test match which India is playing against West Indies at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain. Virat scored 121 runs for which he played 206 balls and his innings included 11 fours. With the great innings, the former Indian skipper helped his team in putting up a big total of 438 runs on the scoreboard.

This century is quite special for a few reasons, firstly, this second test match is the 100th test match between India and West Indies, secondly, it is also the 500th international match of Virat Kohli and this century is the first test century of Virat Kohli overseas since 2018.

The whole cricket fraternity was full of praises for the Indian cricketer and the legendary West Indian cricketer Brian Lara also lauded Virat Kohli during an interview.

Brian Lara stated, “He’s a great player, someone like that, you are not going to keep them down for long. If you do, some people have to pay at the end of the day. The way he has looked in the IPL and recently, he’s just an awesome player, and you can’t expect someone like that to be down for long.”

By the end of the day 2, West Indies was 86/1 with Kraigg Brathwaite (37 runs) and Kirk McKenzie (14 runs) on the crease.
