Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi Konidela achieved a remarkable milestone by being honored with a Guinness World Record for the Most Prolific Film Star in Indian Cinema in the actor/dancer category. Over his illustrious 45-year career, Chiranjeevi has performed nearly 24,000 dance moves across 547 songs in 156 films, showcasing his versatility in a wide range of styles including pop, rock, jazz, hip hop, and both western and Indian classical dance forms.

The award was presented to Chiranjeevi by Bollywood star Aamir Khan and a Guinness World Records representative during a special ceremony held in Hyderabad on September 22. The date marked a significant moment in Chiranjeevi’s life, as it coincided with the anniversary of his big-screen debut in 1978.

Upon receiving the honor, Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude, saying, “This moment is unforgettable. I never expected to get the Guinness World Records, but it feels incredible to be honored for my dancing. Dance has become a part of my life throughout my film career.” He also acknowledged the directors, producers, music directors, and choreographers who helped showcase his talents.

At the event, Aamir Khan praised Chiranjeevi, describing him as a “true inspiration” and calling him “like an elder brother.” Aamir added, “When you watch any of his songs, you can see he has his whole heart in it. Our eyes refuse to stray from him because he is having such a great time, and we get infected with that, which is such a unique quality.”

Congratulations!
