Nothing is scheduled to release the CMF Phone 2 Pro, a sequel to the CMF Phone 1 from the previous year, under its CMF sub-brand on April 28. The most recent teaser displays the phone’s rear camera unit. A triple rear camera system, comprising an ultra-wide camera and a telephoto sensor, is confirmed to be included with the CMF Phone 2 Pro. One noteworthy feature of the CMF Phone 1 was its dual rear camera unit. A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset will be included in the Phone 2 Pro, as confirmed by CMF.
Details of the CMF Phone 2 Pro Camera Are Unveiled
The camera unit of the CMF Phone 2 Pro is revealed in an official teaser from Nothing on X (previously Twitter). The low-cost smartphone will include a triple rear camera set with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, two optical zooms, and a 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch sensor. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a field of view of 119.5 degrees is also part of the camera arrangement.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s camera system would significantly improve over the CMF Phone 1’s dual rear camera array, which included a portrait unit and a 50-megapixel primary Sony sensor.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which is said to provide a 10 percent quicker CPU and 5 percent better graphics than the CMF Phone 1, is verified to power the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro is a version of the Phone 1’s powering Dimensity 7300. A sixth-generation NPU with up to 4.8 TOPS AI processing power powers the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro.
The device boasts a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate and 120 frames per second (fps) for BGMI gaming. A tiny and light design is hinted at for the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
On April 28, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be revealed. It will be unveiled alongside the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus earbuds. Akis Evangelidis, president of India and co-founder of Nothing, recently disclosed that a charger will be included with the phone. Additionally, a clear protective back cover will be included in the box.
