Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is certainly the longest running TV show of Indian television and there have been instances when actors have left the show for various reasons.
For quite some time now, the rumours of Kush Shah aka Goli quitting the show has been doing rounds but now Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi has confirmed that Kush has left the show through a post on Instagram story.
In that post, Dilip Joshi posted a video clip from an old episode in which he is seen pinching Goli and he wrote, “This pinch is for leaving us, Jokes apart, I have enjoyed every scene I’ve done with you. Wishing you the best! May you continue to spread smiles! Looking forward to seeing you go far like a bandook ki ‘Goli’ now!”
The makers of TMKOC also posted a video in which they confirmed about Kush Shah quitting the show. Earlier a fan spotted Kush Shah in New York, USA and the actor told the fan that he has left the show as he is in New York for higher studies. The fan made a Facebook post in this regard but later on, he deleted it.
Well, soon we will get to see a new actor playing the role of Goli but old Goli will always be missed.
