Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor rejected a rumour regarding her intended nuptials. Janhvi responded succinctly to a paparazzo’s Instagram post stating that the actor wanted to wed at the Tirupati Temple while wearing a golden saree. The actor from “Dhadak” has been seeing businessman Shikhar Pahariya for a considerable amount of time.
Janhvi was cited in an Instagram post as saying, “Want to get married in Tirupati wearing a gold saree.” Janhvi gave a brief reply in response, saying, “Kuch bhi (Anything).” Social media users found her response amusing. Some even made jokes about Janhvi’s knowledge of her wedding plans being prior to the paparazzo’s discovery.
“@janhvikapoor aapko pata bhi nhi (You don’t even know),” a person commented, along with an emoji of laughter. A person replied, “@janhvikapoor jabardasti karwayenge ye log (They will force you to get married).” Laughing emoticons were widely used by Instagram users in their remarks.
In 2021, the actor said the line that the paparazzo account claimed to be from Janhvi in an interview with Brides Today.
In response to a question about her dream wedding, the actor said, “I’ve got a pretty clear idea of that, right from the start! It would be a very private wedding; I want to get married at Tirupati. I have a gold Kanjeevaram saree that I know I’ll be wearing, along with a tonne of mogras in my hair. My spouse will be wearing a lungi. And following the wedding, we’ll all consume dinner on banana leaves.”
Janhvi has stopped keeping her connection with Shikhar a secret in the meantime. She carries his name on a necklace that she wears a lot. The couple is even seen in photos going on lunch and supper dates together.
While participating in ‘Koffee With Karan 8’, Janhvi unintentionally revealed her relationship with Shikhar. She gave the names of her father, Boney Kapoor, sister, Khushi Kapoor, and boyfriend, Shikhar, whom she refers to as “Shikhu,” when questioned about the three individuals on her fast dial.
The next film that Janhvi Kapoor will appear in with Rajkummar Rao is “Mr. and Mrs. Mahi.” The movie premieres in theatres on May 31.
