Cristiano Ronaldo explains what’s different between playing for Al-Nassr & European clubs; likes these things about his Saudi fans

Cristiano Ronaldo has said that night-time training is the main difference between playing in Europe and playing in Saudi Arabia. He also said that his Saudi fans are passionate about football and live an active lifestyle.

Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo has said that the main difference between playing for Al-Nassr and Manchester United involves night-time training.

Ronaldo became a part of Al-Nassr  in January and scored fourteen goals in the league.

Ronaldo has claimed that there are huge cultural contrasts between playing in Saudi Arabia and his dazzling time in Europe, when he played for clubs such as Manchester United, and Juventus, Real Madrid. He also said that this is related to training in the evening sometimes.

Ronaldo was then asked about the biggest difference between playing in Europe and playing in the Middle East.

He replied, “One example is that in Europe we train more in the morning, but here we train in the afternoon or evening, and in Ramadan we train at 10 p.m. So, this is unusual, but as I previously stated, these occurrences are part of an experience, memories.
“I like to live these moments because you learn from them.” It’s challenging, but nothing I haven’t seen before. So far, my experience has shown that Saudi supporters are passionate about football and live an active lifestyle, which is fantastic, and I am overjoyed.”

Ronaldo has been connected to a summer exit from Al-Nassr. However, he has shut down any speculation, stressing that he wanted to stay in Saudi Arabia. He might soon be joined in the league by his fierce rival Lionel Messi, who is set to depart PSG after receiving a massive offer from Al-Hilal.

As they prepare for the 2023/24 season, Al-Nassr have announced that they would go to Japan for two pre-season friendly.
