The Indian film industry and fans are in complete shock as the latest reports suggest that Suhani Bhatnagar, the girl who played the character of young Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has passed away.
Suhani was just 19 yrs old and though the reason of her death is not clear as of now, there are reports which suggest that she was undergoing treatment for fractured leg but some medicines resulted in side-effects which led to fluid accumulation in her body. She was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi for quite some time.
While fans were not able to believe this news, Aamir Khan Productions mourned the death of the young actress as its official X handle tweeted, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away. Our heartfelt condolences to her mother Poojaji, and the entire family. Such a talented young girl, such a team player, Dangal would have been incomplete without Suhani. Suhani, you will always remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in peace.”
Dangal was a sports-drama movie which released in 2016 and was directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The movie was based on the lives of Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat.
