There’s something effortlessly magnetic about Rakul Preet Singh—whether she’s lighting up the screen or a red carpet, her charm lies in how naturally she blends confidence with grace. As she steps into promotions for her much-awaited film De De Pyaar De 2, the actor once again proves why she’s considered a modern style icon. This time, she gave the classic denim look an elegant twist that felt both professional and playful, reminding everyone that true style lies in the details.
Rakul chose an outfit designed by Kanika Goyal that perfectly captured her refined yet fun fashion sensibility. She wore a crisp white striped shirt featuring an eye-catching denim patch pocket, paired with a high-waisted pencil skirt in matching tones. The ensemble was businesslike at first glance, but a closer look revealed a sense of ease and individuality. The shirt was left partly unbuttoned to reveal a delicate black lace bralette, adding a hint of casual glamour without overpowering the look. The skirt, fitted and structured with a sleek zipper and side pockets, brought sophistication and balance to the ensemble.
Her styling leaned into subtle contrasts—structured yet relaxed, formal yet free-spirited. The co-ord set, priced at around Rs 51,000 (Rs 18,000 for the shirt and Rs 33,000 for the skirt), reflected a modern approach to power dressing. Stylist Aastha Sharma tied the look together with minimalist accessories: strappy black heels, a chic silver choker, delicate earrings, and stacked rings. Rakul’s high ponytail, with a few loose strands framing her face, added a touch of soft femininity, while her makeup remained fresh and natural, with glowing skin, defined brows, and a glossy nude lip.
The result was a look that felt easy, wearable, and undeniably confident—something that only Rakul could pull off with such charm. It wasn’t about over-the-top glamour but about finding balance and personality in simplicity.
On the work front, Rakul is gearing up to reprise her role as Ayesha Khurana in De De Pyaar De 2, the sequel to the 2019 hit. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film reunites her with Ajay Devgn and Javed Jaffrey while introducing R. Madhavan, Meezaan Jaffery, and Gautami Kapoor to the cast. This new chapter continues to explore love and relationships across generations, blending humour, heart, and a touch of chaos. Set to release on November 14, 2025, the film promises to bring back the same charm that made the first part a favourite—this time with even more laughter and love.
