The senior Bollywood actor-director Deepak Tijori is gearing up for the release of his next movie, Tipppsy which is going to release on 10 May 2024. Deepak Tijori is not only acting but also directing this movie which is based on the story of group girls who got entangled in a murder case after their party program went wrong.
Deepak Tijori is playing the character of a police officer and recently during an interview, he narrated a shocking incident related to Amrita Singh, the senior Bollywood actress. The incident dates back to the time when Amrita was married to Saif Ali Khan; the Hum Tum actor was supposed to do a cameo in a movie starring Deepak which was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker but Amrita was not in favor of Saif doing the cameo.
Deepak revealed, “Back in 1993, there was a film called Pehla Nasha that we were making, and surprisingly, in that film, there was a scene in which we all wanted celebrities to come for a premiere of my character in the film. Ashutosh Gowariker was the director and we had friends. There was one moment when I was really surprised by something that happened. Apparently, there were Shah Rukh, Saif, and Aamir who were coming.”
He further added, “Saif was getting ready, this was his version, he was getting ready at home. His then-wife, Amrita, asked him, ‘What are you doing, where are you going?’ He said, ‘I am going for a premiere, I am going for a shoot, so it’s Deepak’s premiere and I am going to be a part of it.’ So she was like, ‘Really? How can you do this? We never did all these things, you know. Who does this?’ It was a moment that was a shock to me.”
