Recent reports suggest that Deepika Padukone’s post-motherhood approach to filmmaking might be leading to some shifts in her upcoming projects.

Just days after news broke about her potential exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, another rumor is circulating that she might also see her role reduced or even removed from Prabhas’ Kalki 2.

An Instagram page, Bollywood.mobi, claims that Deepika Padukone’s “demand for shorter work hours post-motherhood is reportedly causing friction on sets.” The article further states that the makers of Kalki 2 are actively considering reducing or removing her role altogether. However, it’s crucial to remember that there’s no official confirmation on this matter at present.

This isn’t the first time such reports have emerged. Previously, it was also reported that Sandeep Reddy Vanga had removed Deepika Padukone from Spirit. Those earlier reports indicated that her demands, including “eight-hour workdays, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits,” allegedly “did not sit well with director Vanga”.

It appears that as a new mother, Deepika is reportedly seeking to balance her demanding career with her personal life by adjusting her working hours.
