Delhi CM Kejriwal may soon be arrested AAP says

The Aam Aadmi Party fears that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) may arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 2 for money laundering in an excise policy fraud. Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi says the BJP is targeting the AAP since it cannot defeat Kejriwal in elections…

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) may arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 2 after interviewing him in a money laundering case related to the excise policy scam, the Aam Aadmi Party said Tuesday.

The Delhi ruling party further claimed that the BJP was trying to end it by imprisoning its leaders.

Kejriwal has been summoned under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and sources said the ED will record his statement at its Delhi headquarters at 11 am on November 2.

ED summons Kejriwal for the first time. His case was investigated by the CBI in April.

Delhi Cabinet Minister Atishi told a press conference on Tuesday that the BJP was targeting the AAP because it knew it couldn’t defeat Kejriwal.

“Various sources say the ED will arrest and jail Arvind Kejriwal on November 2. Narendra Modi and the BJP seek to annihilate the Aam Aadmi Party. “This is why AAP leaders are being arrested and jailed in false cases,” she remarked.

Atishi claimed Kejriwal will be detained for criticizing the BJP, not for any crime.

Only because Prime Minister Modi fears him will he be jailed. They know Arvind Kejriwal consistently criticizes the BJP and fights against it. Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has been Narendra Modi’s biggest problem since becoming PM in 2014.

She said the BJP had been winning state elections in 2015, but Kejriwal limited them to three seats in Delhi while the AAP won 67 of 70.

Atishi claimed the BJP went all out in the 2020 Delhi elections, fielding its politicians and created a tense situation nationwide.

However, Delhi residents loved their son Arvind Kejriwal and made him chief minister again.

The BJP knew Delhi voters would elect Arvind Kejriwal and dethrone them in the MCD elections. The MCD elections were delayed, restricted, and held alongside the Gujarat elections. She stated Delhi voters chose Arvind Kejriwal in the MCD elections despite this.

The arrest of AAP leaders Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendar Jain, Atishi said, implies the BJP wants to “finish off the AAP”.

Jain was given interim bail for money laundering.Once Kejriwal is jailed, the BJP will use the CBI and ED to attack other INDIA alliance leaders and chief ministers.

Since they failed to defeat Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, they will target him next. Since they failed to shatter the Bihar coalition, they will target Tejashwi Yadav. Atishi said Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin will be targeted.

Conclusion

The BJP is accused by the AAP of using the ED to target its leaders and ruin the party. On November 2, the ED will arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for excise policy scam money laundering. The AAP believes the BJP delayed and restricted MCD elections to prevent its victory. AAP claims the BJP is targeting Kejriwal and other INDIA alliance leaders with CBI and ED. Central agencies being used by the ruling party to attack AAP opponents raises concerns. Kejriwal’s arrest will worsen the BJP’s attack on the AAP and undermine Indian democracy.
