Delhi High Court Enhances Security Following Threat Email

The Delhi High Court’s security was increased on Thursday after officials there received an email threatening to bomb the court’s grounds.

An email threatening the authorities with the “biggest bomb explosion” on Thursday was sent late on Wednesday.

The Registrar General of the court received the mail. “On February 15, I’m going to blast you up with a bomb. In Delhi, this explosion will be the largest. The email said, “Deploy as much security as you can, call all the ministers, and we’ll blow you all up together.”

The Bihar DGP also got a bomb threat call that day via audio recordings and WhatsApp messaging.

Afterwards, the defendant in the case was taken to Patna after being taken into custody in Karnataka. His investigation had begun.
